A few years subsequent to the work at Playa Grande, we were offered another job by the builders

with whom we had worked. The project involved the repair and re-assembly of a barn frame from

Ohio that was to be built as a party/pool house on a ranch in the mountains in the central portion

of the island. The owner was a prominent Dominican and the site was appealing, so we signed on.

After the inspection of the barn frame, it was transported first from Ohio to our facility in NJ,

where many repairs were made before shipment to the Dominican Republic. There was quite a lot

of design work that we provided for this project, including the enormous timber frame porch that

was built to take in the long view of the valley.
